Information Sources
We live in an age of information overload and one where we have to work hard to judge the quality of the information that crosses our path. For those who would like to stay informed about climate and climate justice issues, these are information sources we find useful (in no particular order):
World Resources Institute - an independent research organization, leveraging data, expertise and global reach to influence policy and catalyze change across systems like food, land and water; energy; and cities.
The Conversation - an independent source of news analysis and informed comment written by academic experts, working with professional journalists.
Christian Aid - a global movement of people, churches and local organisations, seeking to eradicate extreme poverty by tackling its root causes.
Tearfund - a Christian charity partnering with churches in more than 50 of the world’s poorest countries, to tackle poverty and injustice through sustainable development, by responding to disasters and challenging injustice.
Edie - a news site operated by the publisher Faversham House, focusing on sustainability and energy. There is a paywall for professionals, but the free content is extensive.
