COPs traditionally incorporate a 'day of rest' in the middle of the program for participants to reflect and recharge ahead of the second week. The presidency will not run programming on this day.

We think it’s fair to say that the topics about which we have been praying so far have been tough and difficult ones. If you have prayed through days 1 to 7 you are doing well, thank you. 

So, please think of this as a mid-COP Sabbath. Have a rest. Of course you may pray if you wish, on any topic you like. You may want to try a period of silent listening before God. On the other hand please feel free simply to relax.
